100 Days of Eating Clean – Week 2
It’s the end of week two already and I’m happy to say that I’ve stuck with the plan. It’s gotten easier as it’s gone along. Once I decided to commit to eating clean that made life a lot easier. Questions like “should I get some ice cream when I’m at the grocery store?” are simply answered with a “no”. I’m committed to doing this clean eating thing so there’s no debate.
Speaking of ice cream…I happened to noticed the freezer bowl from my ice cream maker sitting at the back of the freezer today and realized I had completely forgotten I even own an ice cream maker. That’s how focused I am on this right now. The old junk food cravings will creep back in eventually, but for now I’m feeling satisfied with the clean eating menu.
The last two weeks have also been focused on my 30 day challenge guide. I’ve been designing and testing the workouts and working on the meal plan. It’s been fun to finally dive into this project. I’m hoping that once it’s ready and others have a chance to try it out they’ll get some good results and find that it’s a plan that really can help them reach their goals…and for free no less.
I’ve got another 30 challenge in the works as well. This one is a challenge group on Facebook. It’s going to be very interactive, social and a lot of fun. It’s a clean eating and exercise challenge that some of my fellow Beachbody coaches and I are putting on later this month. If you’ve got some fitness goals, but you can get yourself to stick to the plan with enough consistency to reach them…or maybe your’re tired of trying to reach them on your own, without any support. If you wish you had some like minded people to help you stay on track…then this group is for you. Click here to get started.
Last but not least…my dish of the week is oatmeal with cinnamon, almonds, strawberries and blueberries. Summertime is when the berries are in season and on sale. I don’t usually buy them the rest of the year. So, having them is kind of a treat and one that’s actually good for me. Gotta love that.
